Well, it was a crazy week…got a call to appear on the fantastic show Sunday Brunch and make some edible tree decorations with Rim Lovejoy, Kelly Clarkson and Rhod Gilbert…..It was FUN! Very chaortic as always as I didnt have much time to prepare, but we busied ourselves in Fancy Nancy and made some edible decorations for a wreath and a tree from gingerbread and baby rich fruitcakes!! Everyone enjoyed having a go and got a little competitive I think! Rhod Gilbert was hilarious and made a version with a beret instead of the conventional Robins you might see, Tim was really into it and Kelly also loves baking. Check it out if you fancy having a watch on the Sunday Brunch 4oD site and you might fancy having a go yourself at making some tree decorations! Watch and learn….Jingle Bells!!
We had the honour of making a goergous 4 tier butterceam wedding cake in scrummy Cookies and Cream, Salted Caramel, Chocolate and vanilla layers and a delicious themed sweetie table for the wedding of the beautiful couple Mary Charteris and Robbie Furze. It was an amazing wedding at Stanway House, Sam and I wanted to live there forever! We hear it all went down a storm for the bride and groom and exciting guests from rock and fashion royalty including Dita Von Tease, Florence Welch, Lily Allen, Jamie Winston and Jerry Hall. Exciting! Hope everyone enjoyed munching the cake, cake pops, cookies and treats! Mary looked incredible in the most daring wedding dress I have ever seen created by the legendary Pam Hogg.
I had an awesome day on Friday on Live with Gabby. It was chrimbotastic showing Gabby and Jenny eclair how to make the mini christmas pudding cakes, available in Fancy Nancy to order of course! It was the last show before Christmas so great fun, the whole team were lovely and I met the Puppini sisters who are incredible, as you will know from our boutique in Leigh we love the 1940′s and they say Jingle Bells live. To top it all off I got to pet a real reindeer and was covered in fake snow! Check it out, you can watch the episode on the channel 5 website.
